Adult Education

As a ministry of the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, the Adult Education Center offers its facilities in a spirit of warm welcome and Franciscan hospitality. The Center hosts a number of courses in adult faith formation and cultural interests. These courses are open to all adults and are taught by Franciscan friars, clergy, religious and laity. Our goal is to deepen one’s understanding of faith through the study of Scripture, church history, theology, literature, the arts and Franciscan spiritual themes. The Center also hosts a variety of 12-Step Programs and support groups for men and women seeking health and inner freedom in their lives.

The Center’s purpose is to lead all participants to a deeper knowledge of faith, self-awareness, compassionate service to one’s neighbor and a greater understanding of the message of the Gospel.

A listing of courses and an online registration form will be provided before each semester begins, usually in September and January.
