An Afternoon at the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin

The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin is an Anglo-Catholic church that was founded in 1868, 158 years ago.  We will spend the afternoon at this New York City landmark with members of the parish clergy who will present a history of the church up to the present day.  It was designated a New York City landmark in 1989 and in 1990 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

We will meet at the Church of Saint Francis at noon and eventually leave by subway for a short ride to the Church complex.
