Mother Mary, Lady of Lourdes, guide those who are losing their sight:
— Walk with them through the labyrinths of life.
Mother Mary, Lady of Lourdes, listen to those who are suffering the loss of hearing:
— Teach them to listen to your Son with their hearts.
Mother Mary, Lady of Lourdes, be attentive to those who have lost the zest for life:
— Guide them to the pilgrim’s table of the Body and Blood of your Son.
Mother Mary, Lady of Lourdes, be near those whose illness no longer allows them to touch or be touched:
— May they feel the gentle warmth of your presence.
Mother Mary, Lady of Lourdes, care for those who have lost the leisure
to smell the fragrances of God’s world and his creatures:
— Release them from the stresses and anxieties of daily routines.

The Lourdes Prayer

Mary our Mother, Lady of Lourdes,
— health of the sick and comfort of the afflicted, you know our troubles and our sufferings. Compassionately look upon us. You dispense your favors throughout the world from that privileged grotto of Lourdes, where water flows, reminding us of the healing water of our baptism. From these waters, may we continue to be healed of illnesses of mind, body and spirit. We confidently come to you, seeking both healing and peace. Grant our petitions.
