A Case for Hope
How do you feel when someone says “climate crisis”? Most of us feel extreme anxiety, which can derail us and bring communication to a screeching halt. Heads (and chins) up! The Converge Ministry and the Laudato Si Circle here at St. Francis are co-hosting a book club beginning February 3rd. Through lively discussion we’ll get the train moving again.
We’ll be reading Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World, by Katharine Hayhoe. In this book, the author brings her perspective as a Christian and a climate scientist to the problem and helps us understand the facts and the feelings.
