FIRST CORINTHIANS: PAUL’S IMPASSIONED PLEA TO A DIVIDED CHURCH

Mondays of Lent: March 7, 14, 21, 28 and April 4 & 11

7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Composed nearly two thousand years ago, 1 Corinthians stands as a monument to St. Paul’s theological, pastoral and rhetorical gifts, and its message is as relevant today as it was in 55 A.D.  Lent, that season of the church year when we strive to become, with the help of God’s grace, a Christian community worth joining, is a perfect time to read and reflect on Paul’s exhortation to unity, mutual service, and self-effacing love.
