On Tuesday, September 5, the Trump administration announced the dismantling of the DACA (Deferred Action for Child Arrivals) program and threatened some 750,000 Dreamers with the possibility of deportation and a life in the shadows. By its decision to end DACA, the Trump administration sows uncertainty and anxiety among law-abiding Dreamers, young people who have been able to live productive lives and who call this country home. Their hopes of pursuing opportunities for a brighter future have been dimmed, if not entirely extinguished. We stand with the Dreamers and will defend them against this attack!
