The Station of the Cross in Atonement of Abuse and for the Healing of All.
When one member of the Body of Christ suffers, we all suffer. The Stations of the Cross in Atonement for Abuse and for the Healing of All invites a wounded church to contemplate the passion and death of Jesus through the experience of clerical abuse survivors. While this is certainly not an easy topic, it is one we must continue to bring to our communal prayer. A combination of word, silence, and song, each of the fourteen Scripture-based stations are paired with the voices of survivors of clerical sexual abuse, original confessional prayers, and profound communal responses.
