Laudato Si Stations of the Cross
Each of the Stations of the Cross includes a quote from the environmental encyclical of Pope Francis, Laudato Si’: On Care for our Common Home (2015), indicated with an (LS), or a quote
from the Apostolic Exhortation, Laudate Deum (2023), identified with an (LD). These texts can be found online at the website of The Holy See at https://www.vatican.va/content/vatican/en.html
The images for the Stations are paintings by the German artist, Gebhard Fugel (1863-1939), renowned for his religious art. The photos of the paintings are now in the public domain.
