Bereavement Ministry Support Group – New Series
Have you or are you experiencing a sense of grief or loss?
The Church of St. Francis of Assisi will be offering a new Bereavement Group which will run for 8 weeks. This is an in-person group and is for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. We will accept a limited number of individuals to insure a more intimate group.
Our Bereavement Support Group will meet on six Thursdays from
Thursday, May 23 to Thursday, June 27, 2024
6:00 to 7:00 pm
in the second-floor conference room in the Francis house
Fr. Michael Carnevale will facilitate the group.
If you are interested, please contact Fr. Michael Carnevale, OFM at carnevale1@me.com or at 862-703-8822 to inquire.
Interested persons should be at least three months into the grieving process and no more than 2 years after the loss.
While this is a faith-based group, everyone is welcome regardless of their beliefs.
Pre-registration is required.

The Woman in the Trees by Theoni Bell

Fr. James Martin, S.J. will be speaking at this year’s Lenten Afternoon of Reflection. His theme is inspired by the miracle of the raising of Lazarus in the Gospel of St. John and will touch on themes from his new book by the same title.
