Lenten Books Available
The St. Francis of Assisi bookstore is open in the lobby of the St. Francis House. The bookstore to offer religious articles and a selection of spiritual and theological books carefully chosen to provide a variety of options to help support peoples’ prayer life and theological interests.
Fr. Brian Smail, OFM, has chosen a few books especially for Lent that you may be interested in, including:

This Lent, find hope and renewal with the Friars throughout the season by exploring the Lenten Sunday Gospels. These scripture sharing groups will meet on zoom and groups begin February 23rd
We are offering three options this Lent:

- Tuesdays 7:00 to 8:00 PM – February 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23
- Wednesdays at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM – February 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24
- Wednesdays at 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM – February 24 & March 3, 10, 17, 24

The Adult Education center is offering A Thing of Beauty: The Poetry of John Keats (1795-1821) taught by Sr. Fran McManus. The class begins this Monday and registration will close soon.

The Adult Education center is offering Traveling On: Major Novels of E.M. Forster (1879-1970) taught by Sr. Fran McManus. The class begins Thursday, February 25th and registration will close soon.
Presidents’ Day – Monday Holiday
St. Francis Church will observe Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 15, with one Mass at 12:00 PM.
This Mass will also be live-streamed.
There will be no confessions, and the church offices will be closed for the day.
